The 9th Annual Cauldron Adventure Race will start in downtown White Springs, Florida at Adams Memorial Park. This year's race will be 12 hours, and will be visiting the Florida Trail, Stephen Foster State Park, Big Shoals State Park with a long paddle down the Suwannee River with sweet rapids. Teams will be exploring the forest, rivers, lakes, trails, and beautiful areas surrounding the Suwannee River in Florida. All of our races have many options which include solo, 2-, 3-, or 4-person teams, coed or open (same-sex).

The 12-hour adventure race is perfect for sport or family teams looking to have some fun discovering the outdoors with adventure racing. Easy to read and simple navigation will take you to some hidden spots around the Suwannee River area. Distances are always based on your team's abilities and speed in adventure racing; however, you can expect 20–30 miles of mountain biking, 5–8 miles of trekking with 4–8 miles of canoeing. Check-in is on Saturday October 30 at Adams Memorial Park in White Springs from 5:00am to 6:30am with instructions and (pre-plotted) map followed a pre-race meeting at 6:30am. The race starts at 7:00 am sharp. All teammates must be present to check-in and receive instructions. The later you are the shorter the time to prepare. Your first discipline to start the race will be revealed during check-in.

A staging area will be set-up at check-in for bikes and paddling gear. For the 12-hour race, we will be transporting these items if required. See "Gear" section below for specifics on gear.

Water and snacks will be provided at most transition Areas; however, this is not guaranteed so bring water purification tablets.

Race includes: T-shirt, food and drink during the race, awards for each division, and dinner at the end of the race. You must register by October 1st to receive a T-Shirt!


Mandatory Gear List required for review and to be carried during all races.

We supply all canoes, paddles, and PFDs. Teams will be allowed to bring their own paddle gear; however, they must be in a paddle bag.


In order to speed up the check-in process on race day, please download and fill in the ARGeorgia Liability Waiver for each team member, and bring to the race with you to check-in.

Rain or shine. Our races are unlikely to ever cancel due to weather; however, sometimes extreme weather could cause delays or cancellation of the race. If your team needs to withdraw, or we need to cancel, you will receive a refund (less 10% for processing) 2 months before the event. 75% refunds 60 days before the race date and 50% refunds 30 days out to the day before the race date. Any deferment to another race is the value (less 10% for processing). So, if a team paid $100 for race A and wants to defer to race B, they would have a $90 credit. Any deferments are no-refundable for Race B. Racers must defer before 30 days from the event.
