100/50 Mile Trail Runs

Description

 

The 1st Annual Endurance Hunter 100 mile Trail Run will start in beautiful downtown Blue Ridge, GA, and finish in Chatsworth, GA. Running on the challenging Benton MacKaye and Pinhoti trails through some of the most beautiful sections of North Georgia. Brought to you by ARGEORGIA.COM, Fort Mountain State Park, and Fannin County Chamber of Commerce. Hunter Leininger (The Endurance Hunter) has designed a unique course with some of his favorite parts of the BMT, Pinhoti, and Fort Mountain trails. It will be tough!   
This is not just a race; it is an unforgettable event! The best time of the year in Georgia with temps in the 60's with Spring in full swing. Fully supported race with 10 stocked aid stations also, shuttle service available from the finish to Blue Ridge on race day if you have no support crew.

THIS IS A "TRUE" POINT TO POINT CHALLENGE.

WE UNDERSTAND THAT THINGS HAPPEN THAT ARE OUT OF YOUR CONTROL: REFUNDS, DEFERMENTS AND TRANSFER AVAILABLE PER REQUEST.
NO MANDATORY VOLUNTEER HOURS REQUIRED FOR ANY OF OUR RACES, HOWEVER, WELCOMED AND GREATLY APPRECIATED.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Race Course

 

Signs and flagging mark the entire 100-mile course. Maps will also be provided and each racer or team will be assigned a GPS tracker for the entire race so race staff, support crews, and family can track you during your journey.

What We Provide

 

1.The longest and most challenging point to point ultra trail run in Georgia!
2. Online tracking for support and family. Live race updates during the race for family and friends at home to stay connected with your progress.
3. Full media teams will produce professional race videos and photos for the entire race which will be available to racers after the race for free. 
4. Race long sleeve shirt and race hat.
5. (9) Fully stocked aid stations and (4) water drops on long sections. 
6. Shuttle for any withdrawing racers back to the host hotel.

7. Solo drop bags.
8. Finisher buckle
9. Custom-designed awards.
10. Post-race meal.

You may only receive the aid within 100 feet of any aid station or water/crew station that allows crew access.

100 Mile Start: 7:00 am Cut-off is 35 Hours or 6pm on Sunday. 

50 Mile Start: 7:00 am  Cut-off is 24 Hours or 7am on Sunday.

Top 5 Solo awards in each class below.
1. Overall Men - 1st in 100-mile solo receives $500 and 2022 entry.
2. Overall Women - 1st in 100-mile solo receives $500 and 2022 entry.

3. Overall Men - 1st in 50-mile solo receives 2022 entry.

4. Overall Women - 1st in 50-mile solo receives 2022 entry.
5. Masters Men (50-59)
6. Masters Women (50-59)
7. Grand Masters Men (60 and older)
8. Grand Masters Women (60 and older)

9. The youngest to complete the course (50-100)

Rules

 

No cutting of the designed course. All flags must be punched to receive credit for the entire course. Details in pre-race email.
Listen and follow all instructions from race staff / medical personnel during the race.
Be courteous to other runners and day hikers.
You may only receive the aid within 100 feet of any aid station that allows crew access
No littering. Take in, take out.
Trekking poles are allowed.
The Race Director has the sole discretion of the administration of any violations of the race rules ranging from a time penalty, up to and including disqualification.
Pacers allowed after aid station #5 and support crews welcome the entire race. More details to come.

Once you are registered for the race you will receive updates or changes via the email you provide. Also, video updates and other information is posted on the ARGEORGIA  Facebook Page

Waivers:

In order to speed up the check-in process on race day, please download and fill in the ARGeorgia Liability Waiver for each runner and pacer, and bring to the race with you to check-in. All crew and pacers must sign as well. 

Gear:

Mandatory Gear list required to review and carry during the event. 

Cancellation:

Rain or Shine. Races are unlikely to ever cancel due to weather, however sometime extreme weather could cause delays or cancel races. If you need to withdraw from the race before race day, you may differ the entry to another racer. Active military called to duty, refund available up to 30 days from the event.
