July 9–10, 2022
Length: 24 Hours
The world-famous Ocoee White Water Center in Tennessee is the perfect backdrop for an Adventure Race during the summer. Teams will be rafting down the Olympic Northern section of the Ocoee River with miles of challenging and exciting Class III and IV rapids. With a 30-mile trail system, the OWC has earned the reputation of having one of the premier mountain biking trail systems in the southeastern United States. The Tanasi Trail System consists of trails ranging from easy to difficult in traversability. Whether you like a leisurely ride on a level double-track trail or a blistering high-speed race down a single-track trail aptly named Thunder Rock Express, the Tanasi Trail System at the OWC offers something for everyone. Course designer Josh Braun has produced a very challenging course for veteran teams as well as a limited rogaine format for new teams to choose their own path to the finish line.

New to Adventure Racing?
The 24-hour race check-in will start at 6:30am with parking and check-in at Quest Expeditions on Saturday, July 9. Overnight camping is available for racers or family from Friday to Sunday at Quest Expeditions.
Check-in starts at 6:30am with instructions and (pre-plotted) map followed by a pre-race meeting at 7:45am.
All teammates must be present to check-in and receive instructions. The later you are the shorter the time to prepare.
A staging area will be set-up at check-in for bins and paddling gear. There will be a bike drop for bikes. In this 24-hour race, we will be transporting your paddle gear, bikes, and (one per any size team) 27-gallon bin. Team labels for bins and bags will be supplied by ARGeorgia.
There will be a bearing course added to this year's race so your team will need to have a basic understanding of how to shoot a bearing and count steps. We supply canoes, paddles, and PFDs for both the whitewater and canoeing sections.
Teams will be allowed to bring their own paddle gear; however, they must be in a paddle bag.
Water and snacks will be provided at every TA; however, they are not guaranteed so bring water purification tablets. There will be many stores along the route for refueling. After the first night, tents will be set up at TAs for team rest.
Race Includes T-shirt, white water rafting, race Medals, awards, food and drink during the race, awards for each division, and breakfast at the end of the race. Spectator maps for guests will be available at race headquarters and online after the race starts. Families and spectators are not allowed to help, supply food or assist teams in any way during the race.
In order to speed up the check-in process on race day, please download and fill in the ARGeorgia Liability Waiver for each team member, and bring to the race with you to check-in.
Rules List is required for review and a copy is to be carried during all races.
Mandatory Gear List required for review and to be carried during all races.
