Length: 12 Hours
The world-famous Ocoee Whitewater Center in Tennessee is the perfect backdrop for an Adventure Race during the summer. With a 30-mile trail system, the OWC has earned the reputation of having one of the premier mountain biking trail systems in the southeastern United States. The Tanasi Trail System consists of trails ranging from easy to difficult. Whether you like a leisurely ride on a level double-track trail or a blistering high-speed race down a single-track trail aptly named Thunder Rock Express, the Tanasi Trail System at the OWC offers something for everyone. Course designer Josh Braun has produced a very challenging course for veteran teams as well as a limited rogaine format for new teams. This year's race will not include any whitewater rafting.

Details
Check-in starts at 6:00am with instructions and (pre-plotted) map followed by a pre-race meeting at 7:30am.
All teammates must be present to check-in and receive instructions. The later you are the shorter the time to prepare.
There will be a bearing course added to this year's race so your team will need to have a basic understanding of how to shoot a bearing and count steps. We supply canoes, paddles, and PFDs for both the whitewater and canoeing sections.
Teams will be allowed to bring their own paddle gear; however, they must be in a paddle bag.
Water and snacks will be provided at every TA; however, they are not guaranteed so bring water purification tablets. There will be many stores along the route for refueling. After the first night, tents will be set up at TAs for team rest.
Race Includes T-shirt, white water rafting, race Medals, awards, food and drink during the race, awards for each division, and breakfast at the end of the race. Spectator maps for guests will be available at race headquarters and online after the race starts. Families and spectators are not allowed to help, supply food or assist teams in any way during the race.
Waivers
In order to speed up the check-in process on race day, please download and fill in the ARGeorgia Liability Waiver for each team member, and bring to the race with you to check-in.

Cancellation
As the race company, we reserve the right to alter, postpone, or cancel any race for safety concerns for the racers, staff or volunteers. Adventure races are unlikely to ever cancel due to weather; however, sometimes extreme weather could cause the state parks, city parks or national forest service to shut down the event without any available refunds to racers. In the event the race is canceled more than 30 days out from the race date, refunds or credits will be provided (less 15% for processing).
Withdraw
If your team needs to withdraw, you will receive a full refund (less 15% for processing) 90 days before the event. 50% refunds 60 days before the race date and 0% refunds 30 days out to the day before the race date. Any deferment to another race is the value (less 15% for processing) and are non-refundable. Only 1 deferment to another event, and racers must defer before 30 days from the original event.
